Midlife Midwifery offers one-on-one emotional release bodywork for women in midlife.

This work supports women in creating space for emotions that have been held - sometimes for decades - in the body. Sessions are grounded and guided by your body’s own timing and wisdom.

Emotional Release Therapy (ERT) weaves together intentional bodywork, breath, and inner awareness to support the natural movement of emotion and energy. Rather than forcing anything open, we listen for what is ready to be felt, expressed, or softened.

Because the body may release long-held material, sensations can sometimes be strong or intense. Throughout the work, care is taken to move at a pace that respects your capacity and choice.

Many women come to this work during seasons of transition—when familiar roles are shifting, when old patterns feel tired, or when something inside is asking for attention but doesn’t yet have words.

In sessions, you are supported in:

• Listening to your inner experience with curiosity and compassion
• Allowing emotions that may not have felt safe to express before
• Reconnecting with a deeper sense of self-trust and inner guidance

This work does not require you to relive your story or push beyond your limits. You remain in choice throughout the session, and nothing needs to happen for the work to be meaningful.

This work is a return to Self - a quiet homecoming shaped by release and remembrance.

How I Hold This Work

I trust the body’s innate intelligence and each woman’s capacity to reconnect with her own inner knowing. Just as the body knows how to bring new life into the world, it also holds the wisdom to return toward wholeness.

My role is not to fix, diagnose, or lead you through a predefined process. I offer presence, skillful touch, and attuned support as you listen to what your body is ready to reveal.

This work is fluid and individualized. There is no right way to experience it, and no expectation of a particular outcome. Each session meets you where you are, and together we honor whatever unfolds.
